Matt Hughes against Ricardo Almeida – Nobody wants to see Matt Hughes, who is one of the hardest men in MMA, as their opponent in the Octagon. Almeida has yet to win a major competition versus a major name opponent yet in his UFC career and he has a chance to win this one. Hughes has gone only 2-2 in his past 2 matches, but look for him to pull out the victory in this UFC 117 betting competition.

Roy Nelson against Junior dos Santos – Of all the games of the night, this could be the most lopsided. Santos should dispatch the not very good Nelson with few problems. He is on his way to a championship shot. Roy “Big Country” Nelson is the 1st American to ever battle dos Santos. Both fighters are acknowledged for their capability to abruptly end a bout with a knockout. They are also both the only fighters to have eliminated Stefan Struve in under a minute. More of dos Santos’ wins came from punches, even though they’ve got nearly the same percentage of wins.
